Due to the escalation of the spread of the Coronavirus, and the consequential imposed travel restrictions, globally and now also in South Africa, we have to cancel the I3E2020 conference event scheduled to be held at Skukuza, Kruger National Park, South Africa, 6-8 April 2020. We are working on showcasing the I3E2020 papers either at a virtual conference at a later date or as a special track of the I3E2021 conference. Details will be confirmed soonest. For any enquiries, please contact the Conference Chairs.

The Conference proceedings will be published in a special volume
of Lecture Notes in Computer Science by Springer.

  • Full Paper submissions have a maximum of 12 pages in length (this includes appendices and references).
  • Short Paper submissions have a maximum of 6 pages.
  • Papers and abstracts should be submitted through EasyChair in PDF format.

Authors should consult Springer’s authors’ guidelines and use their proceedings templates, either for LaTeX or for Word, for the preparation of their papers.

Springer encourages authors of accepted papers to include their ORCIDs in their papers. In addition, the corresponding author of each paper, acting on behalf of all of the authors of that paper, must complete and sign a Consent-to-Publish form. The corresponding author signing the copyright form should match the corresponding author marked on the paper. Once the files have been sent to Springer, changes relating to the authorship of the papers cannot be made.
