I3E2020 cancellation update:

Further to discussion with the IFIP chair, the I3E 2020 conference event scheduled to take place in Skukuza, South Africa, was unfortunately cancelled due to the global COVID-19 pandemic and the consequential worldwide imposed travel restrictions and lock down. As per the options provided by Springer, the proceedings will still be published early in April 2020.

Refunds:

Please send refund requests with the appropriate banking details and delegate registration/reference number to i3e2020@africamassive.co.za.  A cancellation fee of R1950.00 is payable per completed paid-in-full registration.  Refunds will be available and processed up until 31May 2021 as per the cancellation TCs available on the system generated invoice

I3E2020 Registration Information

The Early Bird Registration portal is now open, however, please note the following important registration fees and dates. All registration fees include:

• Registration for 3-day conference with multiple workshops and panel discussions
• Welcome function on 6 April 2020
• Breakfast and Lunch for 6 – 8 April 2020
• Gala dinner which includes a game drive on 7 April 2020

Early bird registration (from 10 January until 31 January 2020) – R6700

Standard registration* (from 1 February until 21 February 2020) – R6900

Late registration** (from 22 February 2020) – R7300

*Please note at least one author of an accepted paper need to be registered by 21 February in order to be published in the proceedings.

**Please note that accommodation cannot be guaranteed for registrations after 22 February
